    Descripción: ...En cuanto al rango de edad el rango de 61-96 meses 39% (67/173) fue el que presentó mayor cantidad de casos seguido por los rangos de 97-120 meses 26% (45/173) y mayores de 120 meses 18,5% (32/173).Palabras clave: Caninos, glándula mamaria, neoplasiaSUMMARY:  This retrospective study evaluated 173 mammary gland tumours corresponding to the Universidad Nacional de Colombia’s Veterinarian Medicine and Zootechnics’ Pathology Laboratory’s 1975-2000 diagnosis file. 41% (70/173) of the neoplasias so evaluated were classified as being benign; the most frequently occur- ring were benign mixed mammary tumour (93%, 65/70), papillary cystic adenoma (5.7%, 4/70) and simple adenoma (1.3% (1/70). 59% (103/173) were classified as being malign; the most frequently occurring were simple tubular carcinoma (41%, 42/103), mixed malign mammary tumour (37%, 38/103), simple papillary carcinoma (6.9%, 7/103), compound tubular carcinoma (5.9%, 6/103) and simple papillary cystic carci- noma (4.9%, 5/103). ...
